Just because the wind is freezing and you can’t feel your cheeks from the numbness of cold does’nt mean that the world around you is not beautiful. A walk through Wilket Creek park in winter can be just the thing to get the winter cabin fever out of your system. The air can be chilled but it is refreshing. Take a deep breath and move down the path and enjoy the winter vistas that this park offers.

The sun shining on the snow, the murmuring creek oblivous of winter, the bare trees standing like sentinels guarding the silence and the occasional call of a lonely bird challenging that silence can all be seen and heard as you journey down the snow covered paths. Winter presents a completely different experience in Toronto’s parks if you can muster the courage to visit them.
